From June to August the water is flat, very good for all levels. When it comes to September to November, the waves are bigger, and better suited for intermediate and pros, with an average of 25 knots northeast wind, also great for those who want to get into the waves or jump big!

We don't provide insurance coverage for the equipment.

To make sure that you get the best gear available we check the equipment each time before you go on the water. If you crash a board or sail we will charge you for the repair. If a board or sail is beyond repair or the repair can't repaired in a way that is not visible, we will charge you 60% of the suggested retail price of the damaged product and the board, sail or boom will be yours then. We will provide you with an invoice for the repair or replacement of the product so you can claim it on your insurance when you get home.

Unfortunately, we don't have a live weather station.

There is no webcam. 

We have ION wetsuits and harnesses for rent. We advise you to bring your own harness and wetsuit (shorty in the summer months and 2/3 long in the winter months) because you are used to it and it does not take much weight to take it with you on the plane.

Instructors are first aid certified and the hospital is only a 15-minute drive from the beach.

DPC Pingtan also operates as a Duotone & ION shop, offering a wide range of kiteboarding products as well as second-hand equipment. If you take lessons, you will get a 20% discount!

Yes, we have WIFI in the center, so you can always be connected.

The PKRA (former) Kite Tours, KTA, and IKA Worlds visit almost every year bringing the best kiters to the island. We also host several PRO training camps throughout the season to take you to the next level in kiteboarding.
